How To Easily Record A Radio House Tour™ Message On Your Drive-By Broadcaster™

The process is actually quite simple, here's how it goes:

Step 1. Plug in the Drive-By Broadcaster™ using the provided 110V AC wall outlet. All 4 green lights and the red light will light up showing that the power is on. (FYI, we also offer a 12V adapter to power it in your vehicle for an additional cost if you want) Then the first of the 4 green lights will light up and begin playing (You will hear a test message from us).

Step 2. To record your Radio House Tour™ message connect the audio source you want to use. For this example we will use a single line telephone. However, you can use a CD Player, Computer, MP3 Player, or any other audio source that uses a 1/8" headphone jack.

Step 3. On the front of the Drive-By Broadcaster™ hold down the red button (i.e. the record button) for about 3 seconds until the red light is flashing (There will also be one of the 4 green lights flashing too). The flashing green light is indicating which message box you will record in. Most start with message box 1. However, to select another message box to record in just press the green button until that message box has the flashing green light.

Step 4. Once you have selected the message box you want to record in, hold down the red button (i.e. record button) for about 3 seconds and then the red light will flash rapidly and the green light for the message box you selected will stay on. This means you are ready to start recording in that message box.

Step 5. Pickup the single line phone (or start playing your audio source) and begin telling your Radio House Tour™ message about the property you are listing. You will know you are recording because the red light will become solid.

Step 6. When you are done with your message, just hang up the phone (or stop playing the audio source) and it will stop after 1 second of silence. You can also press the red button once to stop recording. The red light will go off and the green light in the message boxes will begin to play and broadcast automatically. NOTE: It will automatically cycle through each of the 4 messages boxes. HOWEVER, if there is nothing in a message box it will skip it and go to the next message box or loop back to message box #1. This is to prevent broadcasting silence. Also, each message box can be as long or as short in time as you want it to be. And the total time of all 4 message boxes can be a maximum of 18 minutes.

Step 7. Select the FM Frequency you want to broadcast on at the back of the Drive-By Broadcaster™. You can use the frequency chart on the back to help you determine which station to use. Lastly, place a sign near the front of the property telling customers to tune to that particular FM station. (FYI, we also provide sign riders for this, see below for more details)

That's it, you're done recording your Radio House Tour™ message on the Drive-By Broadcaster™ and now it will automatically begin playing 24/7 and broadcasting to any FM Radio!
